Assistant Director of Student Services

Jackie leads the student experience at Northeastern’s SF and Silicon Valley campuses. She works to ensure that all students have fulfilling, engaging, stimulating experiences while studying at Northeastern, and are able to achieve their visions of success. She identifies as a first-generation college student, a woman and feminist, Taiwanese-American, and is passionate about the power of education, cultural exchange, and social mobility. She holds a Bachelor’s in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.

Hing supports in providing an optimal #NUexperience at our Silicon Valley and San Francisco campuses. This includes helping students explore and engage in areas of personal and professional interests for a complete collegiate experience. Hing is a Khmer-US adoptee and strongly believes education, cultural experiences and social justice help build a more just and inclusive world. He received his Bachelor’s in International Relations from Boise State University and holds a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University College of Professional Studies.

Brielle Buechler (she/her)
Student Support Specialist

Brielle serves to support students across all regional campuses. She is your go-to person for improving on your overall wellness, health, and personal wellbeing while studying at Northeastern University; she can guide you towards resources that can help you prioritize taking good care of yourself during trying times. She is committed to equity, inclusion, and social justice, both in her work and personal life. Brielle graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with her Bachelor’s in Sociology, and aspires to earn her Master’s degree in Higher Education.

Bryoni Lawrence
Bryoni Lawrence (she/her)
Mindfulness Coordinator & Spiritual Advisor

Bryoni is a CPA, meditation and yoga teacher based in the Bay Area. She is deeply grateful and excited to be able to serve Northeastern’s community as your Mindfulness Coordinator and Spiritual Advisor for the Bay Area. She has completed over 700 hours of training in yoga, Tibetan Buddhist meditation, Chinese herbalism, and acupressure with Science of Self and Three Jewels in New York. Outside of Northeastern, Bryoni teaches yoga at Equinox San Mateo and Palo Alto and at RedwoodLIFE for Kinema Fitness. She also teaches mindfulness at schools across the Bay Area with Niroga Institute, records meditations on Aura, and teaches mindfulness to corporate clients with Journey. She hopes that after her classes, you feel a little bit lighter, refreshed, and grounded as you roll up your mat and go on with your day.
